"I have previously utilized this company and gave it a glowing 5 star review. But after my most recent experience with them, I am very concerned about the decline in the quality of their customer service. I had confirmed an 11:00 approximate appointment time with them, give or take an hour or so, and the noon hour came and went, but no crew in sight. So I reached out to Natalie to get a status update, and she informed me that they would not be coming at all that day due to the cold weather conditions. I was very understanding of that, but I did not appreciate having to reach out to them first, and this was also more than an hour after the scheduled time. I had intentionally delayed other business in order to accommodate their visit, but unfortunately, they did not extend the same courtesy to me with their delayed communication. And this was the verbatim text message response that I received: "I have had to reschedule 15 jobs today so it definitely got lost in the shuffle." This is unacceptable and unprofessional.....at best. After they came out the next week, my wife found a roof shingle on the driveway at the front of the house, which appeared to have been ripped loose while they were doing the gutter cleaning. The crew said absolutely nothing about it before they left. When I contacted Natalie to ask her about this, she told me that the crew had found it in the gutter at the back of the house. This explanation was not consistent with the location on the driveway where it was found by us. This was just not a positive experience for me at all. They have done a good job for us in the past, but this is now, and I'm not happy. Looking forward, I will need to thoroughly explore my options before I commit to another gutter cleaning job with this company. On top of that, they raised their price by almost 15%, which would have been a whole lot more palatable if they had just been more professional and timely in their overall communication with me."

"We switched to Asheville Gutter Cleaning from another local company and we have been very pleased. They were higher cost, but they are responsive and their team was professional and courteous. Our home has gutters in the rear that are not easily accessible from ladders so they cleaned them from the roof using safety harnesses. Our experience thus far has been very good."

"Asheville Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance is not efficient or professional. First gentleman that showed up to our house said he was not able to do the job because it required a bigger crew. They rescheduled for that Saturday. The second crew that showed up but was not able to do the job because they didn't have the right size ladders. They rescheduled for another date. That day came and went and received an e-mail from them that they were not able to complete the job because of "staff shortages and time." They rescheduled a third time and on that day, the crew showed up and once again did not have the right size ladders. The gentleman that I spoke with was chewing on potato chips when I answered the door - not very professional. A second crew showed up that same day and indicated it was "too slippery" up on the roof as a result of recent rain. They wanted to reschedule for another date. We decided to cancel. If you decide to use this company, be prepared to reschedule multiple times due to bad weather, staffing shortages, not the right equipment, ran out of time or any other number of excuses."

"This company might be good at maintenance and cleaning but I would not recommend them for install of new gutters. I live in an older home that has had the same gutters for over 9years and worked as gutters should. I consulted Asheville Gutter Cleaning and Maintenance based on reviews and mention of integrity and quality of work. After multiple estimates and failed scheduled times I still decided to replace my gutters mainly for cosmetic purpose . I was coached that since I have a metal roof it was suggested by this company to upgrade to 6 inch gutters with the “best” gutter guards on the market. After about $1400 and the install of the gutters they looked great and was extremely happy with the company’s clean up and professionalism. WELL after the last snow storm my gutters are failing as gutters and falling apart. The gutter guards were hanging off my house and the gutters are barely hanging on to the house. I reached out to Asheville Gutter and their responds was “you should have had snow guards on my metal roof and we will come and fix the damage for $140.00 per hour not including parts. I hate ladders but could not let the “best” gutter guards hang off my house because the wind was causing them to bang on my house and cause damage to my cute little cottage. I am no expert at gutters but I do not believe the guards were installed properly due to only the front of the guards were attached to the gutter itself. The back of the guards on the whole length of the gutters did not have one screw or place of attachment. Just do not know how my old gutters lasted so long and these new ones lasted three months. I just wanted them to look better and now I am back to where I started and in the hole over $1400!"
