"Beware Slum Lords! I lived here for a 3-month lease during the summer of 2023 for 1,500 per month in a studio. Upon move in, the dishwasher, garbage disposal, and bathroom fans didn't work, and a shelf in the kitchen was broken. I immediately informed the office and documented the issues on the move-in form. They pretended like they cared, but did nothing. There is also a serious insect infestation and trash all over the complex. Besides these issues, they take shockingly good care of the pool and gym. It's mostly families in this complex, and I never had an issue with anyone here. If you get a remodeled unit and NEVER need maintenence, you may be ok to live here."

He is amazingly easy to work with. I really appreciate Bobby R II always going above and beyond for residents. He actually cares about the people that live here, and his actions are sole proof. "I've been here a little over a month. The community is nice. The employees are nice. My apartment in particular isn't what I thought I was signing up for, but my mistake for not being more thorough. Bobby has been very helpful and polite. He's very responsive. One of the two pools is open as far as I know. The trash gets picked up pretty consistently. I've not seen an issue with roaches in my apartment so far, thank God. Work orders have been responded to in a timely manner and so far partially resolved, but I've not reached back out to them as of yet to update the issue still persist or to report other issues. I've not been to the gym or used any amenities other than the one pool yet. If my opinion changes in the future, I'll be sure to update my review."

"I really appreciate our apartment! Mr Bobby R. II did a great job for us! He is the best leasing agent I meet in NC! Very welcoming always smiling, polite. I had other offers but his attitude towards us was decisive in our choice to live at Emerald Forest Dr. Apt. I definitely recommend this quit and peaceful place! "Where do I even begin? It’s a roach infestation in this community. I find dead roaches in the apartment every week even though I clean everyday and have called for pest control how many times now. It’s also those huge palmetto roaches roaming outside the apartments. I can’t even sit out in the balcony because they’re out there and trying to get inside. And it’s not just the roaches, they got a bug problem in general. Spiders, earwigs, centipedes, I seen them all.. Second, you put in maintenance orders, they tell you it’s gonna get done in 48 hours. A week will go by and maintenance still hasn’t shown up. They have one dumpster for the community and it’s filled up every weekend, trash everywhere in the community. When I moved in the apartment, dishwasher wasn’t working I had to call maintenance like four times to come and fix it cus they can’t seem to get the job done the first time. Dishwasher was also missing a bottom rack when I moved in. Bathroom was missing shower rod and toilet paper rod and they still let me move in. I leave one star because the community is quiet but that’s all they got going for them. I don’t recommend this place to renters. Find somewhere else worth your money."
