"Moving in to Durham for work, I toured every apartment and community that fit my needs within Durham and the immediate area. Hawthorne stood out among all of them. The community is super nice and quiet, the amenities are nice, the apartments are oh-so-spacious, and generally really great. The staff are definitely a stand out, too! My tour guide, Sara, really knocked it out of the park, she made me feel welcome from the minute I walked in, and took an interest in what I was looking for (and even places I'd like in the area, since I am from out of NC!). She, and the rest of the staff, plan lots of events for residents, and they definitely stand out too! She told me they'd do a pet costume contest in the near future for example, while most other complexes/communities I toured only had basic things, like ordering pizza for a community gathering. Hawthorne deserves its praise! In short, I can't recommend stopping by enough, I am sure they will win you over!"

"If you're considering leasing here, pull the trigger! I have lived here for quite some time. The apartment complex was okay-ish when I moved in BEFORE Hawthorne management took over. Since Hawthorne has came in, this place has been perfect! Staff are a pleasure to work with, down to earth, and friendly. All of my maintenance requests, no matter the size/urgency, are often handled the next business day and at most within 48 hours. They give prompt notice before entering your apartment (can be an issue for some complexes) and are super attentive with any questions or comments you might have. Not to mention you won't find many apartments optioned out like these are in this price range. Five stars through and through!"
