"This is one of the best places I've ever lived. I've now been a resident since 2015 and just extended my lease into 2020. If I've ever had any issues, which has been rare, they've almost always been fixed immediately and to my satisfaction. The Apartments at American Tobacco are right in the heart of all the activity...on one side you have downtown Durham and on the other side you have DPAC, Bulls stadium, and the Tobacco trail. The apartments have character and charm!"

"Beautiful and unique floor plans that are fully renovated while still honoring the character of the building. Amazing courtyard for gatherings (seen here), and a rooftop for amazing Durham views. The location is impossible to beat, steps from gym, Durham Bulls, restaurants, and breweries. Have loved living here!"

It is very easy to be part of the action but the apartment itself is quiet and calm. We have only had one maintenance issue and it was addressed very promptly. It's a great place to live!"

"I can't imagine living anywhere else. In American Tobacco you are right smack in the middle of all the cool things that make Durham the awesome place its become. My apartment is so unique and authentic to the Durham vibe... full of people that have become my friends. It has a real sense of community that urban living should have. The staff is attentive to their residents needs and go out of their way to plan fun stuff that helps you meet your neighbors and your City. American Tobacco has its own security staff that are visible throughout the entire campus 24/7 so you can't help but feel safe. The only negative I could share is that because everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) is within walking distance, be sure to plan for the extra 5 pounds you'll add on from all the great restaurants and bars!"
