"The management team is great, from the Community Manager (Mackenzie) to maintenance (Cole). 5 stars."
"For reference, I’ve lived here 3 years in 3 different units. The first unit was pretty good, but I moved out to live with my boyfriend instead of a roommate. The unit we moved to next was absolutely disgusting. From the day we moved in, it was obvious there was a roach infestation, mold, and mildew. The complex did bomb the place but the roaches came back. The unit overall was nasty and had a bad smell, so we moved into the next unit which was a “platinum” unit, which is their most expensive one. We expected it to be very nice since we were paying much more money for it. When we moved in, the place was dirty and it was evident they did not clean it at all. The toilets were black, dust all over the blinds, dirt on the floor, no light bulbs in many of the lights. It is evident they do not clean or inspect these apartments whatsoever before someone moves in. I was horrified when I looked on the top of the kitchen cabinets and it was lined with dead roaches. In addition to this, the apartment is missing a drawer in the kitchen. There is just no drawer for some reason… and there is no garbage disposal, which the other unit had. You’d think for an upgraded unit it would have everything the other units have, and more. We told the front office about all of these issues and most have not been solved. (We’ve lived here for 4 months) None of these are dire, but since moving in we’ve had more pressing issues, such as our fridge and shower leaking. Submitting a maintenance request simply does not work!! They will not come fix it. We had to call and bug the office so much for them to repair these things for us, which were pretty pressing issues. Do not move here unless you would like a gross apartment and management that does not care about providing basic maintenance."
"Just moved in to this apartment complex and from day 1 a few months ago, my girlfriend and I were treated excellent! Cassie and Mackenzie answered all my 50 questions (make that 51 :) and made sure our move in process went as smoothly as possible! Love the saltwater pool and the 24/7 Fitness Center is the nicest I've ever seen at an apartment complex! It's in a nice neighborhood and very convenient to beach, mall, downtown and many other places of interest in town. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to rent in the Wilmington area."
"We had a very poor experience with this complex and would not recommend it to anyone. Our issues in the apartment were only made worse by the leasing office's constant excuses and lack of care. 1.) Water quality is horrible. It smelled and created a buildup of black gunk in faucets and toilets. The office told us this was normal sediment. 2.) Had SERIOUS mold issues since the day we moved in. Mold grew on almost every single window frame and spread to the blinds, floor, and furniture. If you look at the pattern of mold in the pictures, you can see how maintenance would wipe the mold as a "fix," then it would only come back stronger. Maintenance offered no long term solution and did not care about the potential health risks. 3.) Roaches and roach droppings found multiple times a week. Requested pest control and even pointed out the crack in the ceiling that some of them were coming from, never fixed. 4.) Maintenance is beyond unreliable and would not communicate with us or the office. We were told repeatedly that they would come to fix our windows, they ordered the parts, they need a contractor to do it, etc... One year later our lease has ended, the windows were never fixed, the mold spread into our closets, and the roaches only got more frequent. 5.) If the leasing office actually answers the phone, the only response they have is "we are short staffed and will do our best to get to it tomorrow." Then, when the issue is not addressed the next day, they'll blame it on staffing and say it'll be the day after. The fact that they went through multiple office managers in our one year here is a sign. When it was time to renew or cancel our lease, there was no question. We were ready to leave. I am shocked at the amount of 4-5 star reviews here after our experience. Even if our case was an outlier, the office gave no indication that they cared about, or wanted to fix, these problems."
"It's a nice, quiet lil place with a very helpful maintenance staff and Cassie, in the office, is top notch! Any issues I have, in the honeymoon period of moving in, I get that they are attentive to my inquiries and I don't get the runaround or scripted answers. Cassie and others aren't afraid to say "lemme check on that cuz that doesn't mesh", or some variation, rather than just trying to give me a BS answer. I can't control the taxes or cost of living round here but at least I know I can communicate with the staff easily!"
