"**Second Edit: My initial review was pertaining to how I had a really hard time with getting communication from the office staff when first applying. It took about 2 weeks to hear back about my rental application, one week of that was me calling over and over with no response, and no option to leave a message for the office. I tried taking this up with the office afterwards, and I did not feel heard. I felt that the office manager in particular was trying to make excuses or somehow pass the blame off onto me somehow for not hearing back. However, after speaking with a representative from the property management company, Monarch Investments, I feel heard, and that the issues in the office should hopefully subside. I am actually sad I will not be leasing from such a wonderful and communicative property management company, but I am hopeful the communication in this office will improve for future tenants. I am certain with the holiday, things slowed down and the process grinded to a halt for other applicants as well, but I hope that moving forward, the office will set away messages when out of the office, or call people back if there are delays in the process at all."

"Regarding the response: Please understand there is no heating policy. Our heater matched other units' outputs, then broke. Since then, our electric bill has doubled. 2 staff members confirmed in person that the air coming out wasn't hot, and that another unit was hotter than ours. The below images were taken *after* the several maintenance visits to help illustrate the long-term mismanagement and disregard of the HVAC's upkeep. I hope this updated review provides clarity to management and potential future tenants. We would truly love to have functioning heat and a pleasant relationship with The Creek employees. Original review: I don't think it's unreasonable to want our heater to blow out hot air like everyone else's. It feels a bit cruel to try to convince a mother otherwise. It's going to be 29° tonight. Wish us luck"

"Sezen, and her staff are nice, helpful and friendly. The apartment complex is quiet and clean. Animal friendly community, Parking is tight, but over all good. The laundry units are clean and Mantained to no mold, or dampness. Very clean to wash your laundry. The apartments are clean and any work order are noticed by maintenance at a timely manner. The pool and gym are clean and equipment in gym works. Thank you, Creek of forest hills for your hardwork and dedication to making sure your residents are happy with the Creek."

"Good location and staff appears nice, but "visitor" parking is poorly marked. Management misled about where we could and couldn't park. So they towed my vehicle and told me "too bad" when I called out the mistake. They're not understanding and only care about your money. Also, as far as I know, the pool is just false advertising. Looks nice, but it's never been open since I moved here(it's been 5 months). The roaches here are horrendous as well. We kept asking management to help deal with them, but there will be a roach guaranteed in this 2nd floor apartment every couple of days. Before that, it was 1 or 2 fat roaches every single day. A/C has broke several times as well, and the last time it broke it was over 90 degrees inside for multiple days before it was fixed."

"Moving from out of state, the Creek and it's staff have made me feel welcome from the moment we opened up our door. Katrina, Mike, Josh, Sarah, and Jennifer have all been helpful over the past few months of living here. I love the gym and laundry facility! Plus having doggie stations is so convenient!"
