"After residing at The Crown managed by Town & Country Real Estate for nearly 1.5 years, I feel compelled to share my honest and unbiased review. Prior to moving to Wilmington, I lived in Greenville and was in search of a place to both live and work in Wilmington, aiming for my first solo apartment as a graduate. Being unfamiliar with the area, I fell in love with Wilmington during my visits and job search. My primary criteria were cleanliness and a well-maintained living space due to my OCD. I'm particularly sensitive to dirt and bugs, so finding a suitable place was crucial. Budget constraints led me away from newly built apartments, which were out of my financial reach. Through an extensive search, I discovered The Crown via an apartment finder, despite the discouraging 2.4-star rating on Google reviews. Although initial perceptions were tainted by negative reviews, my in-person experience was quite the opposite. The apartment I found had a new countertop, stainless steel appliances, and was a corner unit with abundant sunlight—a perfect fit for my preferences also brand new ( a year old during my move in time ). The full-ceiling height windows and clean lobby further solidified my decision to take a leap of faith and give it a shot. I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. The service provided by Town & Country Real Estate was exceptional, and I must give a shout-out to my property manager (whose name I won't mention) for her superb assistance. She consistently responded promptly to my needs and went above and beyond to accommodate them. In the real estate market, there are two types of agencies: those keen on retaining your security deposit at all costs and charging for every conceivable issue, and those that are rational and fair. Town & Country falls into the latter category—an honest, helpful agency, a rarity in today's market. ( P.S. I have experienced both type of the agency ) A final note of appreciation goes to my sweet and awesome neighbors, who greatly contributed to making my experience at The Crown a wonderful one. I truly miss what I considered my home in Wilmington."

"I did not post the initial 5 star review. I don't know who did but after going through the move out process and all that it inteled. 5 stars is the furthest from my mind. If i could give them zero stars i would. I will not have any association with this rental property or recommend them to any one that is looking for a nice place to stay."

"I highly suggest you find other living arrangements before renting from this company. They will look for any and every excuse and even make up fines to charge you with. They lie and are not a trustworthy company to rent with. The apartments we stayed in was roach infested and maintenance is rarely done. If something breaks down and they have to fix or replace it, they look for a reason as to why it is your fault so they can change you to for the repair. Do not expect your deposit back after you move out, again they look for any excuse to not give you your money back."
