"Although he doesn't remember me. I've been coming since I was 14! He helped me save a puppy when I was a kid who had parvo. He treated my chihuahua for years when I struggled $ he took good care of my German who developed epilepsy at 2. Now he has my yorkie in his care! I WONT USE ANYONE else! He's blunt and explains stuff in layman's. His prices are fair. I absolutely recommend Dr shaffeld!"

"I am an established client at this veterinary office. I was that is to say.I called in an hour before they closed very worried about my 14year old daughter's dog. I only wanted a second opinion. I had to use a different vet in the area because their xray machine was down at the time. Not a problem I understand things break. But when I called and explained to her I just wanted an exam because I would feel better if my vet I trusted listened to our dog, she informed me that they were getting ready to close. I was caught off guard because I knew they were open for a little more than an hour still. When I said something she said," Well by the time it takes you to drive here and us get you checked in and the Dr to do the exam it will be past closing time. I am like everyone else, when it's time to clock out you want to go home! But I have been in this profession and have NEVER in almost 22 years told a scared client that only wants an exam, that lives .8 miles from the clinic or any distance we are about to close in an hour so go somewhere else. I literally just asked for a stethoscope to be put on our Bassett mix to ease mine and my daughter's minds. I guess thats to much to ask."

"Both my pets come here, they always take care of the problem. The veterinarians are great at this location. The service up front is however another story. Its like they are comfortable at there job too much & forget customer service. Just a smile would make a difference. Overall I would recommend this place if your furbaby needs medical attention or just a routine checkup."
