Brookside Park Apartments

"If you have nowhere else to go I do understand but I would try to go somewhere else. In the first year my bathroom flooded with sewage and it flooded my kids bedrooms. Damage my kids beds and no one replaced them. Apartment manager Juanita didn't move my family to another apartment. They had me clean up my own apartment full of sewage. When I asked to be moved to another apartment she denied my me and said if I don't have anywhere else to go I would have to stay there. The office staff is very rude and won't help with the problems in your apartment. They had maintenance come and pull up my bathroom floor and hasn't sent anyone to fix the floor. I have not had flooring for a year. My bathroom flooded with sewage at least six times within the year . Each time my property was damaged and no one replaced it . This is supposed to be affordable housing but it is not anything that gets broken or damaged you are required to fix it yourself. There is black mold in the bathroom that wasn't there when I moved here."

"Had an appointment at 1pm, sat outside the office door from 12:45 pm until well over 2:15 pm.....application in hand with all paper work. Nobody has come to the door or answering the phone, ridiculousness"

"I've been waiting since April to have my ac fixed. Over 90° every day with no air and I have a 3 year old with severe asthma. He's had more asthma attacks in the 4 months we've been here than all of last year. Ended up in the hospital twice and they STILL haven't fixed it. Also haven't fixed the banister that was broken before I even got here. I've fallen down the stairs 3 times here and have twisted my ankle doing so. Still not fixed nor showing any sign of either issue being fixed any time soon."

"I live here. I had no place else to go. Crime has steadily decreased. The property is managed well and there is 24 hr on site security. It is what you make it."
