"I tried to bring my Honda Civic in for an emergency call as it would not start. Service depsrtment would make no committment as to whether they could even look at it. Said the earliest they could set an appointment was a week away. Of course, they have no loaner vehicle for me. In fact, they never have. Instead of having vehicle towed to Honda, elected to bring it to another garage. Problem diagnosed and corrected within 2 hours. That is what I call personal service from a company who knew me for 30 minutes vice Honda who has know me for 30 years. I have never been so didappointed in Friendly in my life."

"I called to ask for a quote to have my exhaust valves adjusted on my 2013 crv. I was given a price of 480.00. I called back the day before my appointment and tried for over two hours to speak to someone but no one ever answered the phone. I used the chat feature on the website and asked directly am I speaking with someone at friendly Honda and was told no that they were a direct liaison with friendly Honda service so not to worry all my concerns would be addressed. Since I felt the price was on the expensive side I first asked for a breakdown of the work being performed and the parts and labor for the service, she could not answer either question but assured me that someone would contact me via phone before the end of business about my concern. I also asked if I had to leave the car all day since when I made the appointment I was told I needed to leave the car since it needed to cool off before work could be performed. Again chat could not answer if it had to stay all day and someone would call me, I had scheduled to drop car off at 730 am. Upon dropping the car off at 730 which was a very hectic time I was checked in and asked the same questions of the service Personel regarding cost and the time vehicle needed to be there. He replied I see you were quoted 480 I said yes but asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. I was told that would all be on my invoice. I asked how long the car was actually going to be needed and was told drop offs are in the system for the entire day so no idea when work could be performed. I was given the opportunity to reschedule the appointment for a waiting appointment but it would be a week or so before it could be done. I chose to drop the vehicle off and keep appointment. I asked if at all possible could vehicle be done before noon and was told they would try and they would update me. The vehicle was not ready for noon but as promised they did keep me informed. I picked up my vehicle the next day the person who I originally dealt with was off so another person helped me. When presented with the invoice there was no breakdown of parts and or labor. I asked if I could get one and was told this was a quoted price for work performed that was no breakdown available. I was not very happy. This left me feeling that i was taken advantage of. I called several dealers within a 100 mile radius and was given a wide variation on the price for the exhaust valve adjustment from 330 dollars to 510. I am not saying friendly did anything wrong, what I am saying is the entire transaction seemed to lack transparency and knowledge from the Personel at friendly, the chat feature is a total waste of time and it is very hard to get a hold of an actual person at friendly Honda. I should have not done the service when I did with so many question and getting zero answers before I had work performed. I am giving them two stars for the review because of the lack of answers and lack of transparency and the totally useless chat feature. I cannot rate the work performed as I have no basis still to rate since I was never given a parts or labor breakdown which in my opinion is very suspect. I was treated courteously by all Personel in the service department. I just was not given any answers or relevant information. In conclusion I should have done more research and not rushed and when I had that bad feeling in my gut I should have listened and I probably would have saved my self a few hundred dollars."
