"I am RE-gearing some of my saltwater rods and reels and thought I would stop by Sportsman’s Wholesale on Kerr Ave in Wilmington, NC. I really didn’t expect to purchase much there, as last time I stopped in, although I wasn’t specifically looking for this gear, I didn’t see what I wanted. I was very pleasantly surprised, I not only found the exact brands and models I was looking for but the prices were 10-40% lower than other retail prices and I have done a lot of research online and fishing club prices. Chris, the store manager, worked with me to find exactly what I wanted, filled the spools with line and probably spent a good hour plus with me servicing my needs. That is customer service. These guys are relatively new to the area, but are well stocked. Give them a shot for your next outdoor need, especially fishing. Because Chris took such good care of me, I bought another rod type I have been looking at that they didn’t have the exact model, but will work just fine. He earned my business."
