Reviews
"Beware of what you buy from this store. $300 on a down coat and it ripped under the arms the first time I wore it on a trip to NY. Because I packed it in my suitcase the manager felt it was not a product defect. The manager needs to be reassessed as a retail lead. Local customer gone because of her inability to manage effectively, even corporate was disappointed. You don't need my review to make an assessment of this store, just look below."
"Had an incredibly awful customer service experience that was reported to corporate and never heard back or got any mediation. Huge disappointment."
"Thank you...Chris! You provided me with excellent customer service. I really appreciate the help you provided getting me the jeans. True BR brand ambassador."
"Love Banana Republic clothes, its basically all I wear to work. I usually order online, but stopped in when I was in the area.. yeah, no I will go back to shopping online. Their employees were borderline condescending and weirdly awkward, just staring at me. If I need help, Ill ask. Otherwise let me shop in peace."
"Like the invisible woman I walked in. No one even spoke to me until I had shopped half of the sale section in the back of the store. I was asked by one clerk how I was and after I answered she walked off. I found two items that I wanted try on and was asked if I needed a dressing room as I was stepping through the dressing room area entrance. She didn’t ask my name and she didn’t offer hers. Other customers were asked if they could be helped, what they were looking for, would they like a dressing room set up for them. “May I have your name?” “Mine is…” “We no longer have that size, color or style.” “Can I find something else for you?” I tried on the two items as I listened to the hospitality that wasn’t afforded me, put them back on the hangers, hung them up in the back and left like a thief in the night. I felt totally neglected and dismissed and in todays social climate as a black woman I have questions."
