"Sent my Saab to Swedish Motors for some transmission work, replaced all spark plugs and transmission coils among other things. check engine light still came on periodically afterwards, went to Especially Swedish in Saugerties to have another look, was informed that one of the coils was off-brand and causing issues. Swedish Motors agreed to swap out the faulty one wo charge after my now-deleted review on Google but refused to reimburse me for the labor cost of the other shop that diagnosed it, w a rude attitude and wo apologies. Cutting corners is not cool, neither is wasting my time&energy to go back&forth for something they should’ve done right in the first place. Extremely sketchy and rude mechanic on top of being dishonest. Just because Delphi makes OE Saab parts doesn’t mean they are the same as original Saab parts and was proven to be causing misfire&check engine light issues in my car, do not trust this shop . In reply to Swedish Motors, I was never aware of you cutting corners in one of the ignition coils, and had to spend $60 at Especially Swedish for them to look at the car again after I had spent $1300 paying you to do the work in the first place and not fixing the problem. Since you were being dishonest I am going to take the car to Especially Swedish again to make sure you had done what you said you would, which would cost another $60 in labor not to mention wasting my time&energy. In my opinion you should cover the cost of $120 for the other shop to diagnose and inspect the sketchy job you had done. And I was never yelling, do not make stuff up please. P.S. Being misogynistic is not going to make you worse of a mechanic, but person."
