Reviews
"This is my go to location for heavy truck and trailer repair. Great small town feel with local non-corporate owner."
"They are very good people. Friendly and fast. My belt broke on the engine. They got the parts from Freightliner and I was out in less than 20 minutes. Thanks ROMAR"
"Dear Truckers, if you breakdown around Rochester NY area and need a fast reliable, reasonable instant roadside assistance, you can count on these guys. Nice people. Thanks Chris for your help"
"They were always nice but never did the greatest job. They were cheap and friendly so I kept giving them my business. I had a tommygate that needed to be rebuilt as an insurance job. They “did the job” and charged my insurance. Two months later it started leaking fluid. I brought it in and they said they fixed it. It was better for another month then it started pouring out again. I opened it up myself only to see a bunch of towels and cloth stuff all around the lift gate to stop the fluid. Simply put they just faked the fix. It was very frustrating because since it was an insurance job I could have just replaced the whole thing but they told me they could fix it. They didn’t. I spoke to management and they yelled at me and said they were offended that I was implying their guys did poorly on the “fix”. I was left with having to take my business to a much better shop across town. Had to pay $1000 to get it fixed right but it’s been two years now and still works. All in all I’d stay away from Romar. Hate to say it because I liked them. But they did a bad job."
