"My car was having issues and I brought it to the service department. They told me it was because of an issue I tried to repair on my own. Remaining Open minded, I accepted this explanation and they told me it was fixed. Within seven days of driving the car, it broke down in a retail parking lot. After having the vehicle towed back to the service department, I was told once again that my repairs attempted on the previous visit was again the culprit. I was consistently lied to about when the car would be fixed (i.e. being told that repair is complete in 5-7 days and then calling 9 days later to find out that it would take another 5-7 days....repeatedly). For the cost of the repairs, the service was absolutely deplorable and irresponsible. My brother was in the hospital and I could not visit him because I did not have a car. I could not drive to get a haircut because I did not have a car. I could not leave my college campus to go home because I did not have a car. The least this department could have done was treated me with some respect and prioritized my safety on the roads. I feel deeply hurt and mistreated by the service team at Cortese Ford service department. I made an effort to remain patient and respectful, and in exchange, I was treated disrespectfully and negligently. I am truly displeased and upset with the lack of respect and responsibility."
"Will never be taking my car here again!!! This place will try to scam you!! I brought my car here about an issue that van bortel ford already knew about and they were gonna fix it but I decided to come here because I had also had some issues at van bortel and this place is also down the street from me. Well I was wrong for coming here because not only did they tell me that it was gonna cost me for something van bortel told me was covered under warranty but they tried charging me work I had already had done to my car. I just had all new brake pads put on my car and they are telling me its gonna cost me $1,100 for brake pads and rotors. My husband could buy new pads and rotors for $300 so you are telling me its $800 in labor?? On top of i dont need new brake pads i literally just had them done 2 weeks ago. So I tell them don't even freaking touch my car and I go to pick it up and then they try telling me its gonna be a $150 charge for diagnostic. Like are you kidding me?? I hope they know I will be going to the better business bureau and that my lease is up in a couple months and I will not be staying with the Ford brand. Just sucks because my husband just bought a brand new 2020 F150 Lariat and if I would of know how ford was gonna treat customers I would have never bought another car from them."
"I bought my explorer there in August, they "threw "in a factory remote with the price of the car but I needed to take it back to have it installed when the parts came in. I left it there on a Mon , I called about 230 to see if it was ready and the guy said no they are still working on it. Went to pick it up at 430 to find out They couldn't do it so I would have to bring it back up. That place is an hour and 20 min away. 2 and a half months after I got the car, it needed breaks and rotors Great inspection on their part. I also referred a friend to them , that friend bought a vehicle from them 4 months ago and I never received the $100 gift card that they brag about. Definetly will shop closer to home next time."
