"I purchased a used car from this dealership with a dent/scratch in the door. When I picked up my vehicle I could not tell there was every anything there. Great work!!"
"My vehicle was serviced under warranty to replace a passenger side mirror that was not working properly. Upon drop off, I was contacted the following day to advise that they are not comfortable removing a plastic rain guard that is a fixed to the vehicle with double-sided tape because they were afraid that they would break it. I gave them several different ways on how to remove it without destruction and also offer to send YouTube tutorial. They refused to remove it. I was forced to pick up my vehicle, remove it myself and return the vehicle back to the shop the next day. In my opinion, as well as transit town employee, any shop that is not able to remove a piece of plastic of fixed to your vehicle with double-sided tape should not be in business let alone trusted with your vehicle. I removed the rain guard with fishing line and a razor blade in less than 5 minutes. I returned my vehicle to the shop for the installation which took one day. Upon going back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, I noticed immediately that the passenger mirror that they replaced, although working, was painted incorrectly. It did not match the driver mirror nor the mirror that was replaced. They had to speak with their manager and would follow up within one business day for resolution. The end result was me having to bring the vehicle back the following day. Each trip to this dealership cost me roughly $30 in Uber fees. I have spent Well over $150 going back and forth for something that could have been done professionally, efficiently in one trip. I will NEVER utilize this facility for any body work, or paint of any vehicle nor will I recommend them. I will however, WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND S&S AUTO BODY, a family owned business on Kenmore and Englewood for their superior service, efficiency, top quality and always getting it right the first time! I will note, that the traditional repair mechanics/Service advisors are always pleasant and generally get it right. This is solely in reference to the body and paint division."
"I Would not recommend transitowne to anyone for sales or service. Terrible experience since day one. Took over 5 months to have repairs made to my pickup truck. 5 months of phone conversations with multiple employees each time being told something different. Phone calls that were never returned. Scheduled service that was never entered in system. Then when the work was finally completed, I picked up my truck to find it completely covered inside and out with buffing compound dust. They must have left my windows open in the shop while being worked on. That topped the cake. When I left negative review on social media, I was contacted by Customer service and they had left a monetary credit on my account as an “I’m sorry”. It’s not worth the hassle or small credit. I will never step foot in a transitowne again."
"Everyone was super friendly and professional. I’ve always been very skeptical about dealerships no matter who it was. I went to have my hood repainted, Ted the body shop manager his body shop crew was absolutely great and fixed what I needed. I Would come see them again!"
"Ted absolutely understands the collision business as it applies to warranty issues. More importantly they are people person's, I told Ted about my issue ,I then showed him, we then engaged in conversation so we both understood what the issue was and what was expected and what should be expected. I received a honest assessment and then communication follow-through as promised. My vehicle was serviced and looks much better, Ted told me to assess it for a few days and if I couldn't live with the known minor flaws to bring it back and they would address it to my satisfaction. Good, honest dude in my opinion."
