Buckhorn Disc Golf Course
2112 County Park Drive, New Hill, North Carolina 27562
About the Business
Buckhorn Disc Golf Course is a premier disc golf destination located at 2112 County Park Drive in New Hill, North Carolina. Established in 2001 in partnership with the Raleigh Area Disc League, this course offers 18 challenging baskets with water hazards and narrow fairways. Additionally, there are two practice baskets available at the beginning of the course for warming up or practicing your long shots. Scorecards can be found inside the mailbox near the wooden informational kiosk.
The course is located off the Disc Golf/Fishing Pond gravel parking lot, which is the second lot on your right after entering the park. Signs are posted at the cable entrance to the disc golf access area. The park staff would like to thank CADL for their donation of practice basket "0" and its new pad installed in 2015. CADL has been a valuable partner in coordinating disc golf tournaments, course workdays, and providing educational opportunities throughout the year.
The course closes 15 minutes before the park closes, and any questions regarding policies can be directed to the Park Office at 919-387-4342. Stay tuned for upcoming tournament information and enjoy a day of disc golf at Buckhorn Disc Golf Course!

Reviews
"Fun course. We’ll marked. Very clean."
"Absolutely Beautiful. The hike is pretty and the course designed for good players to be challenged. There are a few instances where it would make a huge difference to have the UDisc course map handy, even if you don’t track your score. If you are planning to play for the first time bring plenty of plastic you would be okay losing, for both short and long shots. I find I need some understable and very stable shots over the water as well. I feel like this is a “treat to play” type of course."
"Very nice disc golf course. Great scenery, challenging holes and lots of shade for the summer months"
"This was an amazing trail! Even if you only enjoy disc golf a little, this will be a great experience! The scenes of the lake while playing several holes was breathtaking. However, we skipped two holes because we were afraid to overshoot and land in the water! If you live nearby, give it a try! The park office might have some loaner discs if you don't have any. Or a place like Play It Again sports has a great assortment of used discs that are affordable for a starting player."
