Dollar General

"Store randomly closes throughout the week. No signs or notice. Pay your staff and this won’t happen!"

"Well, first upon entering the facility. There was no greeter at register to say " Welcome to Dollar General" I shopped for about 5 minutes still no employee or manager came out of the office. When i get to check out I have to clear my throat to get attention. Then this Asst Manager named Jennifer came out with this hateful face and says nothing Not even a "Can I help you"!!! nothing. So, I ask for a pack of cigs and she says can i see your ID. And, of course i left them jn car cause when ur 44 yrs old you dont get carded alot. But, I went back and got my ID for her. I was smiling and asked her if she was having a good day. She said "No", and, I said well Im sorry about that ma'am I hoped you feel better soon. Then I went to pay the total of 9.98 and told her hey I got 2 dollars in change and the rest ill put on my debit card. She looks at me and her face gets red and she says ok insert your card and I said well maam aren't you suppose too. Take my cash first then use the card like most chip readers everywhere. And she says not here we dont. So. I said " ok then you will need to subtract 2 dollars from the total on the register and she stops and shakes her head and says 2 - 9.98 = and she says ok ur total is 9.98 . I said ma'am that was my total to begin with. And she gets real angry and says 9.98 ma'am. I thought just pay with the card and forget it ,but when that asst manager told me to take my card out and reinsert it again I bout lost it, So,i grabbed up my 8 quarters and said lady nevermind i will be calling your corporate office ma'am. She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders,. So no good reviews for dollar general in state rd N.C."

"Super convenient from where I leave. Great staff. Short lines and everything us super organized. More expensive than I'd like but the time and effort saved along with gas money well worth it"

"New store, friendly staff. Very clean and very neat. Lots of items easy to find. I love this store! Love the gift card selection as well, I noticed some minor price differences but for the better at this store. I hope it remains clean like it was when we were there."
