"Went to watch the Manchester United game with my daughter and have lunch. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant and continuously checked to ensure everything was okay. Had the Bangers and Mash, and my daughter had "The Sheffield" Burger. Both were served hot and tasted very good. Nice pleasant atmosphere to watch the game. Unfortunately Manchester United lost, but time spent with my daughter was priceless. Thank you."
"Service and location were fine. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the food and regretted coming here (we had heard from a friend it was decent, same folks as Tap and Mallet). They were out of several things (all fried and grilled chicken, except the nuggets). The water I was served had a notable odor and aftertaste. We suspected it was the glass it was served from, my wife's was fine. The aioli we were served was basically white water and was extremely unappetizing. We both ordered the burger. The bun was tasty (from Amazing Grains) but the actual patties were much too small for the bun. They were well cooked but the burger was lacking in flavor. The bacon they served was very dry and almost impossible to chew so we both picked ours off. The fries and cole slaw were good. We didn't order any beer. Overall, for food, there are much better options for pub grub in Rochester."
"If I could give it a negative star I would. The service was absolutely terrible. The food was not cooked to my liking, and was returned to the kitchen immediately. We asked to speak to the manager/ owner and was met with aggression and an racist demeanor when asked could something be compressed because it wasn't eaten. He was extremely nasty and unprofessional. The worst dining experience I've ever received. We never return and definitely do not recommend to anyone."
"Went on Sunday night, it was quiet with lots of tables available. After chatting with our server, she said that it can get very busy some nights. Especially Tuesday for trivia! They take reservations for 4+ people. Our food was great with lots of fun options! Prices were appropriate for the portion and quality! Wing nights on Wednesdays, half off. Trivia night on Tuesday."
"Great English style pub. Beers and food are excellent. Prices are a bit high. Limited seated and service is a little slow but acceptable. When it comes to beer and food quality it's hard to beat."
