Super 8 by Wyndham Myrtle Beach/Market Common Area

"One of the worst places to stay in the area. DONT STAY HERE!! the lady at the front desk jot only confirmed that I was staying there but proceeded to tell my mother lies about me when she called up there. It almost caused me to stop talking to my mother all together. They refused to honor.our free night and said they wouldn't Renew our stay another day because of supposed complaints against us being to loud two nights pirior. They called us and we were very quiet from there on. We have two puppies they were rough housing with My boyfriend. On a Sunday morning I got woke up to someone beating on my door like they were the cop and yelling that they were management. When i opened the door there stood a balding shirt fat man in a plaid looking shirt who so rude to me that I thought about filling another ck.plaint just against him. I was being awoke this way to move my vehicles so they could resurface the parking lot. My truck was blocked in when nice got down there and they didn't even get to where I was parked till an hour later. There was no warning about this going to be done yesterday. They should of put up a sign or something. I filed a formal complaint against this property and it's employees for breaching privacy practices (laws?) And wrongfully. Kicking me out. I called the Wyndham rewards jumper and that's hownjbgot this amazing suite at the laquinta on north kings hwy. Never stay here u will regret it"

"Fast and professional service. The staff will always meet your needs day or night. Been coming to this location for years and have never had a problem. This hotel is reasonably priced and is conveniently located near many Myrtle Beach attractions, shopping centers and restaurants"

"Hello! So I called very early in the morning, asking what would be the earliest we could check in (we drove 4.5hrs to see first light and was exhausted, all other places refused to even acknowledge us) The lady early this morning was fantastic, she checked and said they had rooms and could go ahead and get us in a room. We got there about 15 minutes later and checked in (we really appreciate that!) The 2nd person at the desk, a gentleman, was chill and didn't say much. He got us change for the washer/dryer 3rd person at reception was awful, she had headphones in and was preoccupied with her phone, me not wanting to be rude waited until she finally looked at me and asked what I wanted. I asked for the Vizio remote to activate the cast on the rooms TV so we could watch Netflix on the TV. She said the TV's aren't approved to do that and I can control the channels on the side of the TV if I wanted to do that. (To me, the TVs are capable and would benefit the guest experience if they were allowed to do it.) Main negatives: Door wouldn't lock(door was also open when we came in) had to use the awkward L latch at the top, the place had a smell, the room was dirty. If the aboves were fixed I would consider Super 8 to be a location I would default to when coming it to the beach. It is quiet, dark(which is nice when all other hotels have bright lights peeking thru the windows), majority of the staff is friendly, and not too far away from the beach/Broadway."

"It would appear that the negative reviews have been left by tenants who were not sanitary or clean. I didn't detailed and thorough inspection of the room. A lot of care and detail was out into cleaning this room. You would almost think this is a suite it's so clean."
