"Ordered to go, food was fresh. Presentation of to go food was great! Portions sizes were good, I'd definitely try again. Our only issue was our to go order was confirmed ready, but when we arrived, there was still another 20 mins before the order was ready"
"This place was a pleasant surprise in McDonough. Very delicious Southern style food. Service was excellent and very accommodating! Do try their fried green tomatoes! Delicious!"
"My husband and I came. I ordered the salmon and grits and he ordered the French toast plate with eggs and potatoes, no meat. When the food arrived I was given shrimp and grits and he had the French toast plate with bacon. The waiter questioned whether or not I ordered shrimp. My husband also confirmed my order. She also mixed up his mimosa order however that was rectified before the drink came out. They remade our orders so I thought. His food came out hot while my grits were cold and molded into the bowl. I asked if they could just warm it up so that it’s actually hot. They gave me fresh grits. Now my salmon looked a little different but I didn’t say anything. It was near flat and whiteish. I was covered in red sauce. So I asked the waitress if it was salmon she ensured me it was. The grits were hot and had a good consistency, however they didn’t have any flavor. When I took a bite of the fish the inside was also white and just didn’t taste like salmon. I didn't”t complain about it, Just didn’t eat it. It was too many things that happened before that. Wanted to try the beignets but just wanted to get out of there."
"This quiet jewel is nestled tightly in a strip mall. Parking is tight because of this. We were greeted at the door and was shown quickly to our table/booth. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. I am almost always impressed by those who don't use an order pad. She repeated our order, and it came out correct. Fried Green tomatoes are an appetizer here. They were presented beautifully and tasted very good. They were hot and crunchy. I ordered the veggie bowl, and my son ordered the breakfast tacos. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. They were just right. The sweet tea didn't taste fresh brewed, and my son said that the orange juice was Tropicana. The food wasn't heavily seasoned, which is good because I like to season my own food. The atmosphere was pleasant. We will certainly visit again."
