"Priceing for clothing a bit much. Designer bag prices are great Lots of shoes to choose from. Neat and organized"
"I brought in 3 tote bags worth of clothes, and they took not a single one. Half of the clothes still had tags on them, new, and were in great condition. I took the clothes out of the bag home and they hadn't even been unfolded. While I was waiting the two hours for my clothes to be done, I looked around the store and didn't find a single piece of clothing that appealed to me. So many of the clothes are out of date, or shein. I also saw the exact style of boots I tried to sell to them today (never worn, with the tags) that they claimed were "too-dated.""
"Huge money saver for this single dad! I'm new to the Closet (as my kids say it). I'm loving this. I literally just bought 2 pairs of Jean's, 4 shirts, and a pair of shoes... all name brand high end things.... ready? 47 bucks!! It's awesome. I even went back and got 25 dollars in credit trading in my kids clothes they outgrew. It's really a gem and I hope they keep up what they're doing. !!"
"If you are person looking to stretch your dollar while still getting quality stuff, then this is the place for you. My family loves shopping here. The staff have always been attentive and kind. The displays are great and well thought out. The inventory is also great! We always walk out a a bunch of stuff at a fraction of the price."
"By far the worst Plato’s Closet I’ve been to, possibly even worse store I’ve been to. The store itself is quite messy, there’s always clothes on the floor, which can be excused, but the sheer amount of clothing they pile onto the clothing racks makes it near impossible to shop the inventory. Every time I have visited, I have to wrestle with the clothing to get it off the racks (clothing tangled on each other because of how packed the racks are). All the employees are always working behind the counter, you’d think the manager could delegate to one of the associates to do some housekeeping around the store every once in awhile… The pricing is quite confusing as well. I know there is a set list of how the prices are set, but today when I was there, there were two tank tops that I really liked that were the exact same tank tops, but for some reason have different prices? One was six dollars and the other was ten dollars, even though there was no difference between the two tank tops. However, my biggest issue is the customer service (or lack thereof). The employees are shockingly unresponsive. Every single time I have visited this location, they ignore me, give me dirty looks and make me feel uncomfortable. I stood in an empty line, making eye contact with multiple workers for a few minutes until one of them finally decided to stop their tasking and actually cash me out. Through their actions, it’s clear I am not a welcomed customer even though I try to be kind and patient every time I have shopped in the store. With that being said, there is one associate who is pretty chill (has brown curly hair, didn’t catch their name - but there are usually nice to me and is the only one who bothers to spell my name right on the fitting room door lol). I doubt this review will change their work ethic, but this is a word of warning to anyone who wants to go here - Don’t - (especially if your trans)."
