"We should have known it was a mistake when the person at the front desk showed us the room before checking in. After thinking about it for 5 minutes we decided to leave but they wouldn't refund us for the night. The whole hotel is under construction. There was only one light in the room, boxes all over the lobby. Our room didn't have any furniture other than the bed. There weren't even headboards. We cut our losses and checked out 5 minutes after being there, and while we were checking out, the front desk clerk was booking our room to someone else for a discount. Never again."

"There are a lot of people around the parking lot because u cant smoke n yhe building. A week for 300 bucks in Raleigh is very good. My girlfriend and I had no problems the first night. The ac blows really low but it gets cold. I didnt have any problem at all on our first night. At the end of the week I will update this review. All in all I'm very happy with the place and cleanliness and the location. No problems, as of late. I dont see any problems arising either. Good place to stay if you stay in your room. If you are hanging around the parking lot then you are LOOKING for trouble. No problem sleeping all night so I'm good. Its 6 am and there isn't a soul in the parking lot"

"The only thing I can day is the gentleman at the front desk was awesome. The place is undergoing construction or renovations. I must have been placed in an older room. The mirrors were nice, but the carpet was nasty. Found out I was on a floor where a shootout occurred 1 wk prior too my visit. There was alot of loud banging noises throughout the night, kinda like slamming doors too the room."

"Yes, they are renovating but that isn’t the (only) problem.... I decided to stay despite the boxes of toilets and tile filling the lobby, broken drawers and tv hanging precariously on the edge of falling off its stand. The bed sheets and bathroom appeared clean and that is usually enough for me..... HOWEVER I woke up in the morning with my face itching like crazy and despite washing it, a few hours later the side of my face that I sleep on was red with big welts and itching insanely. I don’t know if it is bug bites or their detergent but I will never be back. If you go take your own sheets and pillows. You have been warned."

"What a dump! But I guess I should not have expected much for $60 a night. The girl at the front desk was very nice. When we checked in the 1st question she asked was, "Would you like to go see the room before you pay for it?" I've stayed in many many hotels and never once was I asked this question. EVER...until now. She explained that the owner would not give a refund after 15 minutes after check in. So...I went and looked at the room with her. It was just ok. Needed serious remodeling. (Kind of reminded me of this one motel my first boyfriend and I would stay in occasionally...that was "pay by the night" too.) Looked NOTHING like the picture online. Well... maybe if the room online had sat untouched for a year after an apocalypse...then it may look similar. If you need a cheap room for a night and could care less about appearances, well than this is the place for you. Plus the gas station and Taco and burrito food truck in the parking lot is kind of convienient, I suppose. I seriously hope my car will be ok in the morning. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!"
