"Such a wonderful trail, so peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed seeing a deer and some ducks. Will be back soon."
"Rode from the trail parking lot (approx mile marker 17+) just north of Anderson Point Park southbound to the county line, and then just a bit further to mile marker 30.0. The NRT surface is very well maintained and the signage is clear and plentiful. On this hot day, I was thankful for the tree cover most of the way. I really enjoyed seeing our progress every quarter mile."
"34 miles of paved, well kept biking and hiking trail. It doesn't matter if you're riding or walking. Either way you're going to have a good time with some great views. Benches every so often to rest and river access as well."
"The Neuse River Trail is a picturesque paved greenway that runs alongside the Neuse River. It's a multi-use trail perfect for walking, jogging, biking, and even bringing your furry friend along. The natural landscape provides stunning views, making it a great spot for a fun day outdoors."
"This part of the trail was accessed from Poole Road Park. There wasn't much to see along the walking trail, but river side provided a much more interesting adventure. I was told the water level was lower then some weeks back, so I'm not sure how long it starts this way. The lower water exposed big rocks that one could walk along. It was great for pictures. Also nice for sitting on the rocks and relaxing amongst the soothing sound of the rushing water. A perfect spot for the kids to play for a few hours."
