Reviews of Marsh Creek Park
"Parents: this is not a skatepark for beginners. It is on a hill, everything is steep, skaters have to gain a lot of speed to do anything. A 6 year old on a 3-wheel scooter will get plowed over or cause major injuries to the skaters around them. Please go to a beginners park like Conlon Family Skatepark. Downsides: no lights for evening skating, sparse parking lot lighting, no restrooms, no water fountains, limited seating, very narrow routes around the perimeter. There are many creative park + vert routes, but hard to run during peak hours. The Superbowl is real deep. The community turned the gated hockey flat-top into a DIY street park, if you're looking for something more chill."
"Wow! Another gem. Literally nobody there in the middle of the day. No bathroom close but a PP at the bottom of the parking lot. The superbowl was sick! Nice concrete park with plenty of roll-in's. I was on my DJ and had a blast! TONY HAWK WAS THERE!"
"Staff was very friendly and the location was well maintained and beautiful. The playground was fenced and landscaped with flowers. Safety might be an issue. Whoever visits here trashes it daily and the bathrooms on the skatepark side were sprayed with graffiti. Some of the skate park graffiti was offensive. Seems like it might be a drug/party place in the evenings."
"I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the hidden mountain biking trails here! I don't know who maintains these, but there are a good few miles of meandering singletrack that are pretty well-worn. Some varied terrain here, including a granny-gear climb under the power lines, plank bridges, one or two water crossings, downhill mini-berms, even a few jumps! I recommend beginning at the entrance behind the playground (not well-marked). Start here at higher elevation and run the trail clockwise to minimize the amount of climbing. Eventually you'll come out near the boulders at the bottom of the parking lot by the community center. Check out the AllTrails app to see the riding routes."
