"The ATT is great for running! Paved and crushed granite surfaces."
"Bathrooms with water, water fountains, tire pump station, covered seating areas, disc golf, and a covered trail to walk. Parking is decent."
"Great place to park if can find a space for going on the Tabacco Trail. Bathrooms, water, seating area, and a bike maintenance stand. To the left is Durham and to the left is Apex and Cary."
"I recently visited the American Tobacco Trail and was blown away by its beauty and serenity. The trail stretches for miles, offering stunning views of nature and plenty of opportunities to take a peaceful stroll, jog, or bike ride. The trail is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and ample parking available. I particularly enjoyed the scenic bridges and tunnels that add a touch of adventure to the experience. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a relaxing walk, the American Tobacco Trail is a must-visit destination in the area. Highly recommended!""
"Fairly large parking lot with bathroom and water fountain (for non-COVID times, I don’t think either is available for use right now; bring your own water). In terms of how busy it is, I’ve only been on the weekends where it is fairly busy around the parking lot and that part of the trail but when you get a little bit away from the parking lot people get more spaces out and then you’ll have stretches of time with just bikes and the occasional runner passing (if you are walking). Picture is what the trail looks like going north from the parking lot (taken about 1-1.5 miles from the parking lot)."
