Reviews of McAlpine Creek Greenway Trailhead
"Great Greenway. Lots of great amenities along the path. Well maintained."
"Beautiful paved trail through some gorgeous views. Started longboarding there and it was absolutely spectacular."
"This place was great! I wanted to get back into hiking and working out my pups but I needed something easy. This was definitely what I would call easy. The main path is straight and even and then there are multiple paths to other neighborhoods, parks and trails if you want something more difficult. There were runners, walkers, bike riders, and everyone was very nice and respectful of the space available. My pups loved it and we're going to make weekly trips now!"
"About four miles long. Paved, easy to walk, run, bike. Dog friendly. There is plenty of wildlife to see. Mostly deer, rabbits, birds, and an occasional rat snake. Don't let this dissuade you, though. It's a great greenway with plenty to see and experience. Very safe. At the main entrance, there's a pond, dog park, restrooms, picnic area. We usually walk or ride scooters. I would like to reiterate that this is about the greenway, not the park with the same name that trail leads to. I would park off Sardis Road to hike, walk, or run the trail."
"Very nice and green trail with lots of natural feeling. You will feel that you are in middle of jungle. If yo are lucky you might see deer while on trail."
