"The subgum wonton soup may be the best kosher soup in NYC. It certainly is the best kosher soup in NYC at a reasonable price. It is full of flavor but not too salty, and the meat and chicken have excellent consistencies. It's also just always piping hot even after a long ride to your table. Beyond the soup, the sushi is reliably very good. Everything I've had from there has been at least very good, and most things, even if not cheap, are reasonably priced. For its price point, this place is amazing. You won't spend much time interacting with the staff, but they are actually nice, especially for a kosher takeout place."

"we ordered the MILD curry- it was uneatable. except for the potatos and rice not being cooked- the curry was so spicy we could not eat it. and i usually like spicy food. my lips are burning from just two bites, as if acid was poured on them- and i preferred to go to sleep hungry than continuing to eat."

"Good quality Kosher hole-in-the-wall type take out. Really great Thai food, and sushi too. Note, there is no indoor seating. Order ahead of time and pickup only. (Or have it delivered.) For pickup, I walked in and ordered. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, really rapid turnaround!"
