"Very nice green space. Path is wide to accommodate walkers and bike riders. Parking"
"This is a special place. I love working out here, long walks, bike rides, picnic tables and benches. Sometimes you'll see squirrels and deer; be careful of the bugs and snakes. There's multiple routes and they all look different depending on the season, you won't regret it!"
"I find this trail good for biking , walking and running. Lots of greenery and maximum part of the trail is covered with trees from both side. So no worries you can walk run any time of the day.."
"We love to hike and often take day trips to the mountains on the weekends. This weekend we didn't have time for that though, so we came here to still get outside. While I wouldn't call it hiking, it's still fun to explore the greenways. We parked at the lot off of Pineville Matthews Road and walked about two miles to the next parking lot (between the two 485 under passes). The trail is very flat and easy. We saw a lot of runners. It would also be a great place to bike. There's a fairly long boardwalk (that was a little slippery after rain and with the leaves on it). This portion passes a couple of marshy areas which are pretty and you can get glimpses of the creek. The fall colors were pretty as well. This is a great outdoor space in the city and we're looking forward to exploring the rest of the greenway and the other greenways in the city."
"Walked this nice trail over the weekend. Covered almost 6 miles, from McMullen Creek, past McAlpine Creek, all the way to Four Mile Creek. Took 4 hours to walk back and forth(12miles). Quite many different types of animals and insects along the way. Lots of people using this Greenway on the weekend."
