"Spacious, clean & quiet accommodations. My 5th time staying here over the past 20 yrs and have never been disappointed. Large property with many styles of accommodations from which to choose. Great location, close to restaurants & shopping. Very appreciative of the gatehouse security!"
"This property was the best value I could find for the amount of space we required and the location we wanted. Comfortably slept all six of us...three adults and three kids. Our condo had three bedrooms plus a living room sofa bed. We stayed on the 9th floor of the South Tower and had AMAZING oceanfront views. The indoor pool was in our buidling on the ground floor, which was convenient as it is winter time. The gentleman who checked me in on Dec 30th was very nice and informative. The gentleman (mature white man with glasses) who waited on us at the Four Seasons Restaurant for breakfast worked very hard to make sure we had all we needed and was attentive. Thank you! Close proximity to all the major attractions and shopping areas & eateries. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and lack of inspection by housekeeping and engineering. Just a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms, kitchen and carpets were required. Asking the front desk for extra towels & wash clothes was a bit frustrating. We would like to stay again just based on the location & room size alone but I'm not sure I'd want to pay over a thousand dollars again for a condo that was poorly cleaned."
"Have had a lovely 3 night stay here this weekend. Very comfortable bed, one of the best we've ever experienced. Good shower and small kitchen but had everything we needed. Would like to have had bigger/nicer quality bath towels. (that seems to be an issue pretty much everywhere in our experience, whether it's a cheap motel, fancy hotel or self catering) Love the peace of mind of a security gate with someone always there to actually check to see if you have the right to go through. We would DEFINITELY stay here again in this specific apartment. (Lodge II West). It doesn't have an ocean view but it's very quiet and pleasant and the ocean is only a few minutes walk away. Only real thing I would say needs improvement is the breakfast. Sign in the kitchen at the apartment says a breakfast buffet is served daily. No price given. We didn't book that in advance, but the sign says you get 20% off when you show that you are staying here. So our first morning we went along to try it. And found out there was no buffet, but a set menu instead. We were literally the only ones there when we arrived. No others eating and no employees until we walked around to see if it was even the right place for breakfast. It was roughly $11 each. Have to say it didn't even come close to the breakfast we had for $9 within a mile of the resort this morning. Not in quantity or quality. When there is a cracker barrel and an independent breakfast place within a minute or two of the on-site restaurant, the restaurant really doesn't measure up at all and we had no desire to eat there again."
"We stayed here the last week of September 2023 so this review is a little old. The resort is nice and quiet. A large complex that is gated which is very nice. We have a toddler so that great to be able to explore outside with them. We have actually stayed at the resort 16 times but this was the first time we actually booked through the resort instead of through a condo owner. BIG MISTAKE. Thought we were doing the right thing and even purchased the extra trip protection through them along with damage insurance. We purchased the South View in the South tower as we have always stayed in the south tower and love the view. Booking went smoothly. I did get 2 calls trying to selling me a timeshare which is annoying and outdated. We arrived at the resort and proceeded to check in. When the agent handed me the keys I noticed that the condo was a north view. So I had them double check that I had the right room. And at first they said I had booked a north room but then realized that I had booked a south view room and the resort changed it WITHOUT notifying or asking me. They were just going to give me the cheaper condo at the more expensive rate and hope I didn’t notice (which is basically fraud). And what is the point of buying trip insurance if they are just going to change it whenever they want? The front staff was nice and did what they could to get us into the right condo which took a day. The fact that the staff was very nice tells me this was a company issue policy or procedure issue. This is the management of the company which reflects throughout the resort. When we first started coming to the resort it was very well maintained. But this time we notice issue like crack in the balcony ceilings and parking garage ceiling, and the balconies of north tower appear to slanted. Pool gates didn’t work properly. A lot of minor stuff that say the parent company doesn’t really care about the property. So in all likelihood that was probably the last time we will ever stay there. Sucks because the property has amazing potential to be a great place."
"Good location for great food and entertainment. Horrible room quality. Bathroom floor had a soft spot from water damage. AC vents had mold spores growing in the registers. The smell was atrocious when we first walked in. This has the potential to be a great vacation spot, but the units need to be inspected more often."
