"This hotel is in a fantastic location and in walking distance to local eateries. I do not like that they don't have a refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. You also cannot control your own room temperature. We had to call downstairs and maintenance has to come set it for you. In my opinion for the cost of these rooms, these things need to be reconsidered. However, our room was clean and cozy. The staff was nice."

"The location of this hotel is amazing. However, the most expensive suites do NOT look anything like they advertise on their website. It was very disappointing thinking you are walking into a beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. We felt we were taking a shower in a locker room. When asked if we got a handicapped room we were told all their suites looked the same. My wife and I always use the Hilton honors app so it’s fast and easy check in. We get up to the room and the digital key lock doesn’t work. We were told they do not have the system for the digital key so we had to go back down and check in and wait. The staff was super friendly and nice and did help the best they could. Overall the hotel needs to update their hotel suites and take the photos of the “river hideaways” off. There is no kitchen or microwave either in their suites only a small fridge. We did like the mirrors in the king size bedroom but the sheets had fuzzies or lint all over them when we turned the covers down."

"First of all, Jadin is a customer service superstar! The hotel is in a great location. We had breakfast at the restaurant. The staff were so friendly and all pros! The hotel is very clean. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"Our stay was amazing! We had a great view of the river and downtown. Cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was top-notch. The elevator was responsive, quick, and smooth. I would definitely come back and give more feedback. Thank you hotel ballast!"

"I highly recommend this hotel because of: - the service (Erica at the front desk is the best) is outstanding - rooms views. They’re very clean and spacious - location - breakfast buffet is great Erica at the front desk was very welcoming. She went beyond the high expectations I had to accommodate my family and me. Additionally, she apologized for some misleading information about a third party that I used to reserve the room. She made up for a third party disappointment Hilton was not at fault. The hotel breakfast buffet is outstanding. The breakfast servers, front desk personnel, and specially sweet Erica, are the best part of the hotel. The rooms are very clean, and spacious even for 3 adults with a king size bed and a rolling bed. The female who brought the rolling bed and bedding was great. I regret not having her name to thank her. The views and location of the hotel are a great plus. It is very conveniently located to walk to the city center and restaurants, as well as a 7 minute drive to visit the battleship of North Carolina. Next time I come to Wilmington I will definitely stay in this hotel and recommend it to anybody who’s like to stay in the best place in Wilmington."
