Reviews
"One of the best experiences and food ever at Moe's on 2/1. Server was fantastic and so was my Homewreaker bowl"
"Food is over-priced. The trays were dirty and sticky to the touch. Music was hard rock and played too loud. Disappointed - this used to be one of my favorite restaurants..."
"I updated this review in 2023 for a visit in 2021. I read they changed management, so this review may no longer apply. 2021 review: It's been a long time since I've been legitimately shocked due to a restaurant's food and service. When first walking in, I made a comment to my fiance about the Art Vandelay poster. He was standing behind a girl cleaning tables, who thought I was speaking to her and ripped out an ear bud and said, "Huh?" And then just stared at me. There was no "I'm sorry, what did you say?" or, "Excuse me?" or even the slightest hint that she was aware of basic manners when addressing strangers. Mentioning Seinfeld invited more uncomfortable blank staring at me, so I motioned awkwardly and said "I was talking to my fiance." She said "oh" and put her earbud back in and kept cleaning tables. Awkward, but no big deal, until you add up the rest of the experience. We had never been to Moe's before and while the girl who made my order was sweet and helpful, the food looked positively atrocious. The rice was dry and hard and the meat had that shiny dry look to it when it's been sitting in a warmer all day. We came after whenever a dinner rush would be so I was confused to see the food looking so... old and gross looking. You'd think that the food would be fresh due to rotation of the food inventory during a dinner rush. It looked like the same food had just been sitting there for possibly days. The sour cream squeeze bottle was empty, so she just kind of spattered tiny flecks of sour cream spray on my food and kept going. Uh... Ok. Then, when the next item also had sour cream, she put the old spout on a NEW bottle of sour cream right in front of me! I mean, you're breaking food safety rule #2, right after FIFO. As we paid, the cashier *stopped ringing us up* to check a Facebook notification. Then, we went to get some salsa and I noticed some bubbles in the salsa, but I thought maybe it was just because I had stirred it. But, it looked... weird. And there were a lot of bubbles. Having never been there, I got some anyway. Maybe that's just what it looked like, I thought. I attached a picture of what it looked like after I got it home. It was so filled with gas that it would not sit flat on the counter, and you can see all of the fermentation bubbles on the side of the salsa cup. They are serving literally rotting salsa. I tasted it to be sure. It is, indeed, rotting. The steak tasted and smelled like an old dish rag. My bowl was inedible, with crunchy dry rice, dry chicken, and super weird tasting bell peppers that I had to remove in order to choke down the rest of the mess. My fiance and I both agreed that we'd rather have Taco Bell. I am actually concerned that some of the other things that were in our bowls might have been rotting because everything looked really old and like the integrity of the structure of the vegetables was suffering. Never again... Oh my god, this was literally the gnarliest restaurant and the grossest food I've ever eaten. You literally could not pay me money to ever go to Moe's ever again."
"I love Moe’s but the last few times this location has gone downhill. The last time I ate there they ran out of steak 2 hours before closing, the associates didn’t know where anything was and the burrito bowl I got was severely lacking. I am used to getting a bowl filled with rice, beans, meat and veggies this one had next to nothing and was not worth the price paid. Save yourself the aggravation and go to the one in Victor where they actually give your quality and quantity for the price."
"One of the best stacks I have ever had from Moe’s"
