"I came here to get some authentic Ukrainian food and boy is this the real deal! Absolutely delicious food, like home cooked. Super kind and helpful owner, he even gave me a free cup of Borscht because I wanted to try it. Can’t recommend enough. Go and try it, you won’t regret. I would suggest you try one of the “Ukrainian sets” to get a mixed plate of different dishes."
"I saw a instagram post and decided to give this place a try! I’m Ukrainian and eat native food all the time so my bar is set high. Let me tell u the food here was amazing! My kids are not the best eaters and they even said food is amazing. “Dad this food is 10/10”lol Fantastic service and outstanding food. Give this place a try!"
"Absolutely charmed by this quaint, intimate, family-run restaurant. The Potato Pancakes with Farmer's Cheese that I ordered for my lunch were freshly prepared and tasted incredibly delicious. The flavors were divine and the love with which the dish was crafted was discernible. Definitely recommending this place for a delightful dining experience!"
"This was my first Ukrainian restaurant experience and we were pleased! When my brother and I arrived, it was empty so we were able to seat ourselves immediately. It is a small restaurant with about 6-ish tables. They have an extensive menu and the server was nice enough to point us to things that we should try for our first Ukrainian food experience. We ordered the potato pancakes with a delicious mushroom sauce and chicken meat and the turkey dumplings. The pancakes were the definite hit of our experience. The fried potatoes were perfect, as was the mushroom sauce, the chicken, the cheese and the dill. We both highly recommend this. The dumplings were bland. We were told that the turkey dumplings were the best of the lot. However, we both felt that the turkey meat should've had some kick to it. The vinegar sauce was very salty and tart. A less tart sauce would've made this more wholesome. We ended the meal with the Kyiv cake, which was supposed to be freshly made. We both aren't really fans of desserts, especially cakes, but this was a pleasant surprise as it wasn't too sweet. The slice was definitely to be shared. The addition of nuts to the cake balanced the sweetness. There was a crispy cracker layer, which we enjoyed. All in all, we liked the restaurant and the guy working there. The food is pretty good. I would recommend checking them for sure and definitely try their potato pancakes. Parking is primarily street parking so good luck with that! The neighborhood isn't absolutely the best, so I would recommend coming here with people during the day."
