"Really love this little spot. Great gastropub food items, and a diverse menu. Great alcohol selection and friendly service, especially the woman at the bar is lovely."
"The atmosphere is cozy. It wasn't loud which was nice. The Bartender was wonderful and table service was descent. It was hit and miss with our food. Hit- oysters were great, as well as my husband's short rib- awesome. My scallop dish was disappointing. The flavors and combinations on the plate were spot on, but the whole dish was super salty. It seemed like there was a coarse, intense finishing salt on the scallops in particular. I scraped some of the salt off and it was better. Pork belly was delicious but also a bit too salty. My salad with squash was good but more leaves than anything else. My friend was real disappointed with the perogies. She said they were dry and having just a whole sausage on the plate was not appealing. I did like the place though."
"I was surprised this place wasn't busier on a Saturday night because the food was amazing! Our server Celina was so sweet and friendly. The cider donut creme brulee was so good."
"Terrible. We ordered tomato and burrata with pesto was too salty, the hamburger was average, the truffle fries was just salty and cheesy with no truffle at all, and the seafood cake was dry and tastes like hamburger patty. I also asked for a mocktail, the first glass was so sweet that I thought it was just syrup. What worse is that there’s an ant floating on top… I asked for another glass but the second glass tasted like bubbly vinegar. What’s even worse is that the waitress didn’t fill my water the whole time, neglected me multiple times, and chose 20% tip for me. Why does she think she deserve a 20% tip? I went to her to change to a 15%, but she changed the tip to 18.7%, and then she filled the total price including taxes and tips as the original price, filled the tips in additional gratuity, trying to get more money from me. This is just outrageous, definitely won’t come again and will inform other people not to come."
"First time, definitely not last time. They were very busy for a Monday, but we didn't feel neglected. Our waited was running her butt off, and I saw everyone helping out. The food was mostly amazing, and I'm going to hopefully assume chiefly that the food mishaps were due to busyness. The starters were the shrimp cocktail with bloody Mary cocktail sauce and the crab gallette. Both were amazing, and couldn't have started the night off better. The shrimp were huge, and the cocktail sauce had a nice spice to it. The crab dish was like crab Rangoon but a million times better. It creamy and delicious. Entrees were the lobster rolls and scallops/ pork belly. I had the scallops and pork belly which were cooked perfectly, and had amazing flavors blending with the smoked corn puree. The only issues we found were the lobster rolls themselves. I'll give points for having New England style rolls, but negative for not being buttered and toasted the way they should be. The Connecticut roll didn't have any or enough melted butter on it as it should. The Maine roll didn't have anything except mayo and lobster. It was also mainly leg meat, whereas the other was claw. A better blend up or mix of both in both would be better for the presentation. Maine lobster rolls have celery, more mayo, and more seasoning that help bring the lobster flavor to the forefront. We will try again definitely."
