Douglas Inn & Suites - A Great Place to Stay in Blue Ridge

"My fiance and I decided a last minute trip for New Year's/ our anniversary. This place was great for what we needed! The room was clean and I was surprised to see a new Keurig as well. Them having a microwave as well is a huge plus. The walls were bright green and yellow which is a choice... Buuttt since we just needed a safe place to sleep, we can handle that! There was coffee, fruit, muffins, cereal, and juices for the Continental breakfast which was perfect to kick off the morning. The staff was very nice and clearly hard working. If you are looking for a safe and reliable place to sleep while you explore the area, great pick! We even walked downtown which was a huge benefit on a holiday notorious for drinking."

"Rooms are clean enough but ours has a weird smell. It's not a pleasant smell. The rooms are painted a neon green and yellow which is not so appealing. The guests in next room are also noisy probably would complain but only here one night. There are so many empty rooms to put people in rooms side by side. Even though it's not summer the pool is brown, can't even see the bottom."

"Some of the furniture needs to be thrown in trash. The room was florescent green and yellow. Pool was black. Rooms do not look at all like the pictures on brochure. Wish I could post pictures. One chair had a big rip across back and was disgusting."

"The staff was very nice , the beds were way to firm, the room was very clean ,the walls are very thin so you can hear lots of noise the breakfast was light but very tasty ,we would stay here again"

"They went above and beyond for me this weekend when a camping trip took the wrong turn. They not only got me into a room, but did it at 7:30 AM without hesitation. I appreciated them so much! Great atmosphere, great people, and bonus- my room matched my car!"
