Take 5 Oil Change 5110 Capital Boulevard, Raleigh, NC 27616

"I try not to post negative reviews because I feel a bad experience can be just a one off moment and not a normal way. But after reading other reviews, it seems like my experience is normal for this location. It was busy, and I was waiting in line in my car for over an hour. When I finally was being waived into the bay, I was informed the don't do oil changes on Mini Coopers. Other Take 5's do. So they spoke to their manager to find out that they can. But why would you not inform someone waiting for over an hour that you couldn't change their oil? So when I was in the bay, I saw why it took so long. Plenty of employees working. But they were laughing and joking with each other versus working. To be honest...It looks like everyone their loves to be at work. But the work gets in the way of their fun. They person under my car kept getting out from under my car to go laugh with some person that didn't appear to be an employee. But parked outside the bay. After talking and laughing for a bit, he would go back under and work for a while. Then back out to talk with his buddy. The other Take 5's I have gone to, I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. But here was just shy of 2 hours. I do commend the management on being able to put together a team of individuals that truly looked like they loved their jobs. That is usually the hard part. But do hope they find a way to keep their love for being at work into a more efficient team. I will continue to use Take 5's, but might not return to this one."

"Got an oil change this evening. Service was very fast but I really want to acknowledge TY! Hands down he is the best. Very informative and got my me back driving so smoothly. My 1st time ever coming here always go to jeep. But now Take 5 have definitely got a lifelong customer. Stop on ask for Ty! You won’t be disappointed"

"Take 5 was more like take 55. I was there for over an hour. Once I got in the mechanic station I understood why. The staff was slow as molasses. They were laughing, joking, walking around taking their good old time servicing the cars, and they were extremely disorganized. They didn't seem to care how careless they were appearing. I wont come here again. Sorry."

"Due to all sorts of misconduct and negligence in the workplace at this location, my transmission went out on my vehicle. We went through a claims process to get them to replace it but it was denied! (Mind you I had a new transmission put in my vehicle this year so it was perfectly fine) my husband and I couldn’t afford to buy another one at the time so we suffered tremendously over that loss! I am extremely hurt, disappointed, and angry at all of this because it caused a series of events that I am still bearing to this day. And to make matters worse, I am unable to reach a human being working in that corporate office. There is no direct number and I was told the email they have, is only for lawyers to communicate through. I would NEVER recommend trysting this company with your vehicle! I pray this never happens to anyone else because this situation has ruined almost everything! Including my credit which I worked hard to build! Take 5 if your reading this, I wish that you all would have simply done what we asked so that I can continue to be the best mom and wife I can be."

"I had the opportunity today to go to Take 5 for my oil change. The oil change was very quick fast and pleasant. Definitely on the pricey side. But the men that worked on my oil change was very professional and knowledgeable."
