"We spent 2 nights in the Carolina room. We were treated so warmly and everything was clean and inviting. We were close to town yet far enough away for the quietness we needed. Sheets on our bed were so nice.Food was filling and fresh from the oven. It was nice to wake up and smell breakfast! We hope to return."

"The Kinsale Suite was lovely with a double-sided fireplace, charging stations on both sides of the bed, microwave, refrigerator and HUGE walk-in shower. The suite also accommodated my dog! The breakfasts were healthy and quite filling. Chad and Josh were very welcoming and gracious hosts. I will definitely make The Yellow House on Plott Creek Road a future destination!"

"We decided to go to the the Biltmore Mansion and Wheels in Time Museum and the Yellow House was the perfect location. . Being fairly new to the South we had never been to the area. Chad was a perfect host and made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the Pond House and it was so nice and peaceful. The full breakfast was so good and well done by Chad, again a great host. Their online guestbook is so full of great suggestions of places to eat and visit. The Yellow House was just off the path but yet so close to everything. We are already looking forward to returning in the spring when everything will be blooming. Thank you again Brian and Kim .."

"I was looking for a weekend getaway near the Smoky Mountains Park and found the Yellow House on Google. I hadn't heard of Waynesville, but the location looked good and the House looked perfect for a quick trip with my husband. I appreciate that there is a veterans discount, and found the room rate to be very fair and good value. The rooms look exactly like they do on the website and our room was quite comfortable, wifi worked well, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and there was a sweet treat each afternoon when we got back. It's a short drive into town, and there are several good restaurants and shops downtown. Hiking and scenic drives are just a few minutes drive. Chad and Josh are friendly and accommodating hosts, the house is beautiful, and we had a great stay. We'll come back the next time we are in Western North Carolina."
