"After VRBO lost our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. I'm very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. The facilities are well maintained, clean, and very comfortable. Parking was available but can be tight at times. I would highly recommend."

"6:30 I get woken up by them building more, after not getting in until 1 I will never stay here again the staff was fine but the security was awful they made fun of other ppl at the pool said they were fat & he thought it would be funny to lock them in so they have to jump the gate cause I bet they can’t! I can’t believe they did nothing!!"

"Absolutely horrible timeshare experience. As family of platinum owners with Westgate for over a decade, and tens of thousands of dollars later, I can honestly say customer satisfaction is a thing of the past in Westgate’s industry. I’ll speak for my parents since they are far too kind to say anything. After years of trips, and years of disappointment, we’ve accepted our fate as owners of a seemingly heartless resort. For a year I’ve watched my mother stress, call, email, check and re-check getting our rooms all together because it’s so important to her, and she’s had too many disappointments in the past to not try everything. We’re coming with over 15 family, grandkids and close family for this trip. Once again, upon checkin, our representative informs us we’re not all next to each other as “requested”. We understand nothing is guaranteed. We checked in at 10am and made one last request to all be together, and waited till 4 pm to pick up room keys. We were told there is absolutely NOTHING they can do, and they even spent three hours trying to get us together. I come from leadership in other timeshare/resort industries, and I find this very hard to believe, but understandable. As their normal routine, this same check-in sales rep drive us up to our rooms to give us a walk through. We continue to express our disappointment with having to walk so far to visit with family, to which she quickly capitalizes on “Well if you go to your owner update (extremely pushy sales meeting), we can request a room change in a couple of days to get you together?” To me, the fact that being close with our family is used as leverage to go to another sales meeting is beyond disheartening, it’s disgusting… Worse than used car sales tactic in my opinion. My parents agree to go to the sales meeting begrudgingly to help make our family happy. After both me and the other kids tell my parents we don’t want them wasting our family’s time going to a 1 hour presentation, which always ends up being 3-4 hours and heated when you don’t buy something, they text our rep saying we’ve decided we want to cancel and spend time with family. Westgates response? Enjoy the trip! We’ll cancel the room change request. Thanks Westgate for another unforgettable experience to go home and share family and friends. I personally look forward to adding this to the long list of story’s I enjoy sharing with my peers and friends."
