Great Smoky Mountains
About the Business
Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located in Bryson City, North Carolina, is a stunning park filled with ridge upon ridge of lush forests that straddle the border between North Carolina and Tennessee. This park is world-renowned for its incredible diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture that can still be found within its boundaries. As America's most visited national park, it offers visitors a chance to connect with nature and explore the great outdoors.
Visitors are encouraged to plan their visit in advance, as a parking tag is required to park for longer than 15 minutes. It is also important to know the status of the park's roads, facilities, and trails before heading out. Those looking to experience the park in a leisurely way can take a scenic drive through Tennessee's Cades Cove, where they can spot wildlife and historic structures along the way.
For those interested in camping, there are 10 frontcountry campgrounds to choose from, or visitors can venture into the backcountry for a more rugged experience. Whether you want to feel the cool spray of a waterfall, camp under the stars, or explore a historic mill, there is plenty to see and do in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Just remember to treat encounters with wild bears with extreme caution and to park responsibly to help preserve this beautiful natural treasure for future generations to enjoy.

"Beautiful drive, very cool road with a couple short tunnels and fun corners. The view is amazing!"
"One of the beautiful national parks in the United States and a must visit for all. The park is amazing with great display of smoky mountain ranges. One can take US highway 441 from Cherokee and follow signs to Gatlinburg downtown. Take various overlook stops along the way for breathtaking views of mountains and nature surrounding. One can also take hikes. Don’t miss Clingmans dome for more amazing views with a small detour just before newfound gap. Laurel falls and various other waterfalls are also worth visiting. Cades cove scenic loop is a must and so is roaring fork nature road loop. There are visitor centers located at both Cherokee and gatlinburg side. Overall an amazing and must visit national park."
"Incredible spring views."
