"We took the hardest hike which was about 2miles, but worth hiking there. The water was chilling and lot of people were tubing and camping."
"Such a beautiful display of nature! Enjoyed the hike to see both waterfalls in the Great Smokey Mountains!"
"Pretty Easy, Beginner Hike. Nice wide trail. Benches by the waterfall. Nice for a picnic spot. Slightly crowded in weekend. There is a parking lot to start."
"Very nice trail. There are the normal dirt landscape timber "steps" down to view the falls. As with any kind of decent and incline it could be hard on the knees. We didn't do the loop,we back tracked to Juney Whank. That is definitely a steep incline. We almost always take our dog, we didn't have her this time. And that's 1of the reasons I wanted to do these falls. There is a no dogs on trail "rule". Clearly posted, but I suppose if a person doesn't research they wouldn't know I guess. It's clearly posted at trail head, but I suppose people get there and have there dog and find out then. At any rate there were around 6 dogs we saw, leashed and all well behaved, but that's not the point. As a doglover I'm just saying there are rules for a reason. Very nice area with restrooms and picnic areas. We stayed in Bryson City, it was busy Anniversary weekend."
"Amazing falls with nice observation deck! The falls are great and there is a nice walkway down to an observation deck to really see the entirety of the falls. There isn't much room for more than maybe a dozen people but it was not too busy when we were there and it is a bit deeper into the trails unlike the other falls in the area."
