The store is a greatly needed local supply center -- and though they might be a little more expensive than a 'big box' store like Lowes or Home Depot, they do have most everything you need, and very friendly staff to help you make sure you get what you need, without having to make repeat trips. Highly recommend stopping in to see their new 'outdoor furniture' and other home goods space across the street!"

"This used to be Clampitts, but now it's ELDERS Hardware. Since it's under new ownership it has gone through some big changes. The location remains the same but now there is a big addition across the street. Everything for lawn care, barbecue, and even outdoor furniture. The main store has also been upgraded. And you get the same good service the store was always famous for. Bryson City is lucky to have this big store in the little town. I checked some prices on equipment etc. They are very compatible to the giant competitors. Some things are even cheaper. Handicap access and pets are welcome. Check it out, they've got it all."
