Juniper at The Vanderbilt

"A beautiful restaurant under the 'Calissa' umbrella of restaurants from the Hamptons, we celebrated my girlfriend's birthday. They didn't know, we didn't tell them. We had a quiet dinner. The food was extraordinary, even for LI Restaurant Week. Good serving size. The drinks were top notch. I recommend the Harvest Old Fashioned and the Basil Bomb. The Salad and Butternut Squash Soup were amazing, the soup was creamy and fresh, not too sweet. The dinner was consistently good. The fish was fresh and the Gnocchi was to die for. We closed the dinner out with Lemon Cheesecake and it was creamy, cold, smooth and soothing. We left pretty full. Good prices and great service, Amanda smiled the whole time. Very professional and down to Earth. The hostess was great too. Great experience, we will return! Go and tell em Barsnobs sent ya!"

"Went for restaurant week. The clam casino was a little underwhelming. Butternut squash soup was fantastic. Both the sea bass and gnocchi was fantastic. For desert, cheesecake and flan were also top notch"

"We are staying at the hotel and stopped by Juniper for an after dinner drink and some dessert. Both of which were fantastic! The restaurant was beautiful within, and the dinner menu looked great. We'll definitely have to try a full meal here the next time."

"My eggs were served Cold, twice, and the waitress wasn't around when we needed her, even though it wasn't busy at the time we were there. This venue is considered to be an upscale restaurant but that wasn't evident. They were playing Christmas music, but the Only Christmas decorations they had was a Christmas Tree in the lobby of the hotel. We were very disappointed and definitely won't be back. I'd rather go to City Cellar next time I'm in the area or nothing at all."

"Brunch was delicious! We ordered the chicken & waffles, avocado toast and cheese burger. Chicken was on the bone for the chicken & waffles, which made the chicken crispy and juicy. Cheese burger was cooked to the correct temperature and French fries were crispy! Avocado toast was so good and we added the two eggs. For drinks we ordered orange juice and coffee! Great brunch! We sat outdoors, but the inside has a great bar area and high ceilings!"
