"Terrible service! I went there at 9:30 pm since they close at 10:00 pm. There were very slim pickings. My kids were hungry and I asked for 2 slices. They said no plain slices left. But there were two slices with pepperoni. So I asked for them to remove the pepperoni and reluctantly they did. I was charged for the pepperoni slices anyway. The guy gets out a box and asks if we want drinks I ordered a drink and said we were going to eat there. He said that they were closed. I said it is 9:30 and there website said Saturday closes at 10:00. They said they cleaned up already. After paying over $21.00 for four slices that were dry and lacking flavor, my kids couldn’t even sit down and eat. When I asked again they said we close at 10:00 so we will be cleaning and moping and you don’t want to smell that right? For the record my kids are under 8. The employees were just rushing to get my money and run out. I wish we had gone to Mama Theresa’s Pizzaria! At least there the food is great, the service is even better and when it is that close to closing they offer you what they have at a discount or throw in a slice for free. But this place was rude, expensive, food was blah and their service was terrible. I will NEVER EVER give this place any business! If I could give them no stars I would! Shame on you!"
"My friend and I had an exceptional evening at Cafe Gino's in Westbury. The cozy atmosphere and friendly ambiance immediately put us at ease. Despite it being a Thursday night, the place was surprisingly quiet, providing us with a peaceful dining experience. The cleanliness and beautiful decor of the restaurant set the stage for what turned out to be a delightful meal. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, a flavorful appetizer that left us eager for more. For the main course, we opted for the penne alla vodka, a traditional homemade delight. We customized our order, requesting half with basil and half with shrimp, and it was large enough for us to share. The combination of flavors was simply exquisite. Despite a slightly longer wait than expected, our patient anticipation was rewarded with attentive service from a courteous waiter. We complemented our meal with a glass of Merlot and a glass of red Zinfandel, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. In addition to the fantastic food, what stood out was the warm hospitality and genuine care shown by the staff. Their dedication to ensuring our needs were met enhanced our dining experience. Cafe Gino's in Westbury left us thoroughly impressed, earning a well-deserved five out of five rating. If you're seeking a delightful dining experience with excellent food and welcoming service, Cafe Gino's is the place to be. We left with satisfied taste buds and happy hearts, looking forward to our next visit."
"Visited Gino’s a couple of times. Each time the food has been consistently good, tastes fresh! We’ve yet to try the pizza, but I recommend the bolognese and Chicken Parmesan entrees. They’re both excellent. Maybe next time we’ll try a couple of slices!"
"The first time we found this place was by accident and we loved it!! The establishment itself is cozy. We ordered appetizers all but the eggplant was not good, I never had an eggplant appetizer with ham and it didn’t help that the appetizers were cold. The fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms were delicious!! The pizza was also delicious. We tried the desserts and they were pretty good. Just a note, if you have their desserts with ice cream the ice cream is very frozen, takes a while to thaw and enjoy. Be prepared for a long waiting period there’s only one waiter. As for parking is not too hard to find"
"I love the decor in this place and the food is good. I don’t like the fact that we have to wait quite a long time for service and food. We ordered appetizers and our main entrees. The appetizers were cold by the time we got them, we complained for the long waiting period and the appetizers being cold however, the waiter redeemed himself and brought our food nice and hot. I’m giving this establishment a three star because of the long waiting and cold appetizers. Food and appetizers were good. Desserts were pretty good as well"
