"When I first walked in I was very confused of if this was a thrift store, or just reselling wholesale cheap quality clothing. All the racks are mixed with swimsuit material wholesale clothes, and nothing had a price tag on it. I ended up finding this fake leather children’s jacket (worth no more than $5). When I asked the man behind the counter, he examined every inch, smelt it, and came up with a price of $50 there and then. This man claimed the jacket was rare and vintage (I had searched it up and it’s worth $5). None of the clothing here is worth your time or money. DONT come here if you’re looking for a trustworthy thrift store. This is definitely a money laundering scheme or something, very unprofessional."
"They really have some great items here, but it’s a shame they will never sell most of it. I wish I was more inclined to buy things, but the gentleman behind the counter must have his blinders on when he goes into work at a “thrift store” because the way he prices items is the most random and highest prices of any thrift store I’ve been to. There are some gorgeous leather and fur coats but I’m not paying retail prices for musty vintage sadly. I think if they lowered the prices a bit, they could actually make room for the bags of clothing on the floor."
"Don’t waste your time here. The store is junky, untidy and very old. There are no prices on anything I saw. The price is based on how the guy behind the counter feels that day I guess. That concerns me because the price is subjective. I was wearing a blue shirt, maybe he doesn’t like blue and gave me a higher price. Who knows but it is never a good practice to not have prices on items. Everything was overpriced!! You cannot sell clothing that another human being maybe two has worn on their body like its new clothing. The price cannot be the same as a brand new item. I don’t care how you slice it. Apparently this is what the guy thinks. No wonder the store is running over with junk."
"An absolute embarrassment to all the small businesses on Long Island. Although the thrift shop has a good selection do not get your hopes up. The old man behind the counter, who claims to be named Nick, will charge above market value claiming that he knows a fair price. He is open to negotiation but when you throw out an honest number he will become offended and upset and try to ask for your personal information (name, where you are from, etc.) Practically throw you out of the store just for giving an honest number when asked! Never in an establishment have I felt more unsafe, and something tells me that I am not the first that he did this to and I will not be the last. The owner of this business is not fit to run it and it is an embarrassment to all Long Island businesses who are struggling to stay afloat from the lack of business. Avoid this place at all costs and take your business elsewhere. You will not only find better deals somewhere else, but, and I cant believe I am saying this, you will also feel safer too..."
"I was visiting from out of town and needed some more weather appropriate clothing. I found the thrift store on google maps where it said it was open. I drove there, saw the open sign illuminated, saw the hours on the door as being open, yet their door was locked and lights were off. I tried calling and no one answered."
