"This place is not at ALL what it appears to be online. I ordered a salad (which was clearly premade), a pork bowl, and the worst Mac and cheese I have ever eaten. I added chicken shwarma to my salad and it was cold, hard, and flavorless. This is an insult to chicken shwarma. The pork bowl was flavorless without the sauce. The Mac and cheese had the consistency of jello and had about 3 noodles and a pile of cheese, and it looked nothing like the photo. The prices are way too high and the quality is poor. Avoid this place. The final straw-- I found a hair in my salad."

"I went to Migrant Kitchen for lunch on my NYC vacation and had an absolutely delicious lamb torta. They included a free empanada and dip on the side for both. Both the torta and empanada were high quality, tasty, and filling without being too greasy. The staff were kind and there were good vegetarian options! Definitely recommend as a lunch spot."
