"Our meal might be the worst food I have eaten in NYC (and I live here!). We were very excited to go to Little Spain and taste the food of Jose Andres, one of the best chefs in America. We could not have been more disappointed. The food was awful and the service was not much better. We would have been disappointed by the food even if the restaurant was just an ordinary restaurant. We were even more disappointed given the chef’s reputation. Apparently Little Spain is nothing more than a tourist trap hyped by a famous chef. The location is great and the food court is very interesting but the food is terrible. I am embarrassed as a New Yorker that this is the food we offer to visitors that know no better than to eat here. At the end of our meal our waiter told us that the food at the other restaurants in the Little Spain food court are much better than this one and recommended that we eat there instead next time. We were surprised by his honesty but shocked that everyone recognizes how bad the food is at this location."
"I've visited Hudson Yards previously but hadn't explored the restaurants until now. We opted for the Spanish diner Casa de Comida. There were two hosts – the tall, slim girl had a bit of attitude, but the one who seated us was friendly. Our server, who unfortunately I couldn't get the name of, was fantastic. He guided us through the menu, recommended popular dishes and drinks, and we thoroughly enjoyed the night with great food and drinks."
"Delicious food in every stand, restaurant, or bar at the market. little pricey, but everything is authentic and imported from Spain. A lot of origin designation protected products. Service is very good too. They do not have parking, so if you drive, you have to use one of the many close parking places around which are expensive too. But is Manhattan and everything here is expensive."
"Amazing food and services. Please order the “fricando de ternera” is soooo good!! (Order a side of rice, it comes with fries only) and the “tarta de queso” is better than places I have tried in Madrid. The place is super cute, open and comfortable. Definitely will be back."
