"I was disappointed when visiting today as the fries are different. I've been going here for years and they always had fries that matched what you can get in the Netherlands or Belgium. These were just plain. The usual twice-fried, chewy, crispy, skin-on frites seemed to disappear from reviews some time in early 2023. What I had today was similar to any steak fries you can get at a run of the mill restaurant. The sauces were fantastic as usual. Look at the photos and you can tell pretty quickly. Sadly, I won't be coming back."

"A great restaurant that sells authentic Belgium fries while also having an ancient medieval atmosphere. The cashier was great and gave a plethora of sauces as samples, there were so many great sauces but certain sauces stood out more than others. After getting the fresh fries inside a cone, I sat down at the table and placed the cone into a cone holder. The fries were perfect thickness, perfect crispness, and salted just right. The sauces and medieval atmosphere made dining in a memorable experience. Would definitely recommend!"
