"This is without-a-doubt the best bakery on Victory blvd, and the coffee and pastries are uniquely delicious to the rest of the Island. Every time I’m here I can’t help but get boxes full of croissants or desserts to bring home. I love the coffee prices, the only spot in the entirety of NY where coffee isn’t insanely overpriced, and the tastes exceed expectations every time. Especially the Sweet Life’s Coffee of the Day flavors which are always exciting and different from the last. It’s a very comfortable and cozy place that invites you to come in to read your book or take a seat with a coffee in hand by the storefront window. Grace and Gene and the employees have done a fantastic job with the place and the shop wouldn’t be so welcoming if it weren’t for them. If you haven’t stopped by The Sweet Life’s Bakeshop you are missing out!"

"We loved our lite afternoon coffee and bakery visit at Sweet Life! I can't believe we just discovered this shop. Our coffees were excellent, and they offer the full offering from cappuccinos, lattes, and traditional drip coffee to teas, iced options, flavors, and extras (including homemade whipped cream!!). The shop is nicely decorated with nice tunes, Michael Bublé jazz always sets the mood! The bakery items were the best part of the experience! They had a wide selection of gluten-free and other options for people with dietary restrictions. We enjoyed gluten-free tea cookies and a strawberry shortcake (with the INCREDIBLE homemade whipped cream :) Great local spot! We watched a lot of regulars order their "regular" during our visit and all left happy with their drinks and engaged in friendly conversation with the owner Grace. We definitely will be back!"

"The feta and spinach croissant was amazing and so were the little chocolate man cookies. Super impressive variety of sweet and savory options! I also really enjoyed my iced vanilla latte. The prices were super reasonable! There is limited seating inside but I had no problem getting a seat."

"I can only say I wish i bought more. Met a friend for a coffee and was surprised by a spot i never been before. Well I’ll definitely be back. Everything was super fresh and im not a big coffee drinker and it was excellent. Perfectly made.But check the photos if i wasn’t on a diet i would have walked out with boxes. I did dive into a croissant that was made to perfection.i love supporting Small Business on the island. Everyone who walked in you can tell was a regular cause they were greeted by first name. Cant wait to enjoy more of their food."

"2018.08 relax, cozy, and a warm little bakery, coffee, cookie, muffin,and even cake. Not very sweet. Coffee of the day called sticky bun. I personally like it. I feel small amount of coconut flavor, and my wife said some hazelnut flavor.... Not bad. Don't taste bad at all. 5 stars because of the friendly services"
