"We ate early and so there were plenty of tables. The pizza is excellent! Nice cozy place. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Nice vibe. I would recommend it for couples and small gatherings."
"This is Vincenzo's original location for Cafe Alaia restaurant on Garth Road. It is now up the street but the great food and atmosphere has not changed."
"Such a beautiful, intimate space. Food is incredible. Probably the best pizza outside of Italy. Had a great meal. The croque madame, a brunch special, was delicious. Vincenzo cares about every detail and every customer. Highly recommend."
"Small intimate space with service that makes you feel special. Small plates are plentiful and tasty. The arugula salad was delicious, as was the chef's special pasta with seafood. Nice wine variety to pair with any dish."
"Cafe Alaia has been a staple of my pandemic life, so I've watched eagerly as Aperiti (a different look from the same owner) set up shop on Garth (the smaller location Alaia inhabited when it first moved to Eastchester). We were a party of three, arriving around 630, and found no wait and a choice of tables. Aperiti has a number of high top outdoor tables, as well as indoor seating for various types of parties. The couch style benches are a nice touch. The decor is well considered, evoking a similar quality as Alaia, in a more casual environment. I tried each of the signature cocktails, which, while classic, are refreshingly unique for Garth. We ordered a number of small plates to share, the quality of all of the food was wonderful, as expected. The spec wrapped dates stood out as something I will be ordering again soon. All in all, I'll be back in the near future, and assuming a similar experience, expect to find Aperiti a regular stop for a light bite to eat, well crafted cocktail, or bottle of wine with the girlfriend. Highly recommended."
