"A phenomenal selection of ou products. Scarsdale prices are high but quality of prepared foods and baked goods are worth a visit from miles away."
"Nice supermarket, many products from Israel including the famous Bamba snack, nice kosher experience."
"My sister was doing a instacart. My back was giving out I had to sit down. The baging lady move two bundles of toilet paper for me to sit, but the cashier lady said I couldn't sit there. I'm a senior citizen and a Army Veteran with a bad back.. If I would have fallen it would have been that cashier who said that I couldn't sit on the metal crate to ease the pain in my back. So if you shop there there's no consideration for seniors."
"I just came back from here, and I am a young woman. Only one register was open, and I was waiting on it for over 15 minutes, as there seemed to be something wrong with the machine and they had to redo the woman's order. During that time, a line formed behind me, and another register opened. First, they took a man who just got on line behind me, who hadn't been waiting and had more items in his cart. Then, they sent the older woman who was online behind him to another register. I am still waiting, and then another line closes down. Finally, it appears it's about to be my turn, when an older man cut right in front of me and put his items down on the conveyor belt. I told him I had been waiting for over 15 minutes at that point and that he just cut me in line, to which his response was, "well, they sent me here from the other line, you seem really nice, if I'd seen you there, I wouldn't have done this." Then, he kept unloading his items, even though he blatantly cut in front of me, and acted as though he had no agency in the matter. He easily could have taken his items off the belt and let me continue, but he acted as though it was out of his control. I told the manager, who simply directed me to another line (a line from which another woman who was behind me was already checked out from), and the manager simply said, "sorry, there is nothing I can do about it." Yes, yes there is. As the manager, it was his job to assure that the store was properly staffed, that the workers were trained appropriately, that the lines were orderly and people were helped in the turn that they arrived, to intervene if need be, to ring up a customer on his own if need be, and to assure that customers had some remedy to a wrongdoing. In this case, a remedy would be something like one of the items in our cart on the house, or a discount on our purchase, or something of that sort. Those or other options would have been an appropriate remedy in a well-managed store. Franky, the whole thing felt like a Chillul Hashem. I was glad I was not there with anybody who would have gotten a bad impression due to this. I do wonder how much my age, gender, and outfit played into the disrespect and disregard to which I was subject."
"Season’s kosher supermarket took over an empty Gristedes store that had been vacant for a few years. They had two smaller stores in the Same shopping center. The new store has a phenomenal selection of fresh produce and fruits that struck me as very reasonably priced. Given our new rules of social distancing, all of their staff wore masks and the cashiers also were wearing gloves. Between their butcher shop, seafood section and deli, as well as great looking prepared foods, I have become a loyal customers! Today I returned to Seasons and I realized that this is possibly one of the safest supermarkets to shop at for all of our shopping needs and you don’t have to be Jewish to shop here! Their prices in their seafood department are competitive and the Scottish Salmon I bought was delicious! There are many benefits for shopping at Seasons. There are no lines at their checkout counters and they have a remarkable selection of everything from fresh made sushi and a dedicated staff ready to assist your needs!"
